ABOUT ME
Mr.
J.Arumugam, M.Sc., M.B.A., is working as Officer, Tata Consultancy Services
Ltd., Chennai. He holds M.Sc., in Information Science from the University of
Madras, awarded Dr.S.R.Ranganathan Endowment Prize and Librarian
P.Kalyanasundaram Endowment Prize for the first rank and completed NET. He has
published 9 journal articles and 29 conference papers in various National and
International conferences /seminars. He has visited Japan in 2008 as a
University nominee. He has delivered invited talk and organized National
seminar. Currently he is holding the position of Joint –Treasurer for SALIS
Chennai chapter. His areas of interest are Open source tools and techniques,
Information retrieval system and Scientometrics.
